The JAC ARPA Gun Violence Prevention and Reduction Grant promotes holistic, strengths-based traditional and non-traditional outreach, engagement, and healing-centered treatment to African American and Latino community (ages 15-29) across 20 Chicago Southside Communities using credible messengers, community health workers and therapists.
This grant affords CHCC and its community partners the opportunity to extend its work in Public Health by addressing trauma, public safety, and access to holistic quality health care that will improve the “Quality of Life” in our communities.
