CCHC is committed to doing our part in helping to end the HIV epidemic by offering a variety of STI testing services to all of our patients on a routine basis, regardless of any known symptoms or risk factors, which includes but is not limited to HIV, Hepatitis, and other commonly known sexually transmitted infections.

About the HIV Epidemic

  • People who are living with HIV but undiagnosed (18%) and people who are HIV diagnosed but not in care (45%) account for 92% of new infections.
  • Deaths from HIV are increasing among individuals over 44 years old (67%) and females (27%), yet these two groups are frequently left untested.
  • 71% of patients newly diagnosed with HIV had made a healthcare visit in the previous 12 months and had not been tested for HIV.
